Your organisation can pay for a move, or send it to the person moving to review and pay. Every move uses the same fixed-price engine as movesmith.uk, and we review each organisation before opening its account.
NHS trusts and universities recruit people from across the UK who need to move to start their new role. Movesmith provides the removals part of your relocation services. If your NHS relocation package or your university's relocation policy covers removals, your HR or relocation team can prepare a fixed-price move for a new starter in Movesmith Business, decide whether the organisation or the employee pays, and follow it through to completion.
A practical handover
- ✓Book the moves your relocation package covers, or send the move to the new starter to review and pay.
- ✓Add your PO or job reference to each move, so it matches your own records.
- ✓We move the person's own furniture and belongings. We don't move your organisation's own furniture, equipment or stock, and we don't offer clearances.
- ✓Moves are priced with the same fixed-price engine as movesmith.uk, and the price is shown before anyone books.
- ✓Moves are carried out by independent moving operators on the Movesmith network, each with Goods in Transit and Public Liability checked before they can take a job. Movesmith stays your point of contact.
- ✓Movesmith accepts liability for loss of or damage to the goods during the move, within the published Movesmith Cover limits.
