Unknown or unsupported access is reviewed before we offer a fixed price, and a carry of 50 metres or more needs a tailored review. If there is no lawful parking, furniture does not fit, access is unsafe, unplanned dismantling is needed or delivery cannot be completed, the operator pauses the affected work and sends Movesmith a structured report with evidence. Movesmith provides the removal to or from a storage facility that you arrange and pay for. We do not supply, manage or guarantee the storage unit. The standard fixed-price journey supports one home-to-storage or storage-to-home leg with confirmed facility hours or a matching booked slot, suitable loading access for a 3.5-tonne vehicle, less than 50 metres carry, and ground-floor access or a usable goods lift. If the facility refuses entry, booked access is missing, the disclosed unit or access is wrong, the facility window is exceeded, or redelivery is needed, the operator pauses and submits a structured report with appropriate evidence. Waiting is free for 15 minutes, then £25 per started 30-minute block up to three blocks; configured failed access is £60; and £120 redelivery applies only to a supported short repeat visit using the same booked locations and disclosed access. A changed or uncertain journey or access needs a fresh fixed quote. Nothing extra is charged and no varied work continues unless you approve; if you reject it, Movesmith Ops coordinates the safe next step or rebooking.
