Office move checklist
Ten things to sort before moving day.
- Lift and loading bay. Book the lift and the loading bay with building management at both ends.
- Parking. Ask the council about a bay suspension if the van needs to stop at your door.
- IT and servers. Your IT team disconnects and reconnects computers, phones and servers. We do not.
- Desks by zone. Label each desk and box by zone on the new floor plan.
- Drawers and lockers. Empty them before moving day.
- Confidential papers. Shred or bin them yourself first. We do not take waste away.
- Landlord and building. Tell your landlord or building management the move date at both ends.
- Keys and fobs. Have keys, access fobs and alarm codes ready at both ends.
- Box and crate count. Number every box or crate and note the total, so you can tick them off on arrival.
- Doorways. Measure doorways, corridors and lifts for large furniture, and tell us what you find.
What we do not do
- We do not disconnect IT or supply crates.
- We do not offer clearances or waste removal.
- We do not deliver sold goods to your customers.

Do you do office removals in London?

Can you move office furniture?
Yes. Desks, chairs, filing cabinets, shelving and meeting tables. List what is moving and the floor at each end, and say whether there is a lift.
Do you disconnect IT or supply crates?
No. We move furniture and boxed items. Disconnect and reconnect your own IT, and pack your own files and equipment in boxes. We do not clear or dispose of old furniture.
Do I get a VAT invoice for an office relocation?
Yes. Tick the business VAT invoice box at checkout and add your company name. We email the invoice, made out to your company, once your card is charged.
Can you move us in the evening or at the weekend?
Say when you need the move when you book. Evening, weekend and out-of-hours jobs go to movers who take them, and a mover accepts the job before it is confirmed.
Is my office furniture covered during the move?
