How long does a move from London to Cambridge take?
It depends on the size of your home, access at both ends and traffic on the day. Most long-distance moves are a single day: loading in the morning, driving, then unloading on arrival. We'll tell you the plan for your move when we send your quote, so you know before you book rather than on the day.
Will my move need an overnight stop?
Some longer moves do, usually where loading finishes late or the distance makes a same-day unload unrealistic. If yours does, we say so in the quote and it's included in the fixed price — it is never added afterwards.
What size van or lorry will you send?
That's matched to your inventory when we quote. A studio or one-bed usually needs a Luton; larger homes need a bigger vehicle or more than one trip. Telling us about everything that's moving is what keeps the price fixed.
