Man and van jobs in Liverpool: clear payouts, no bidding

Based in Liverpool or Merseyside? Movesmith offers fixed-price customer moves to verified operators near the pickup, with your payout shown first.

Will I get work?

Work depends on customer demand, your area, availability and suitability for each move. Joining does not guarantee jobs or a weekly income. You can see the complete fixed supplier payout and requirements before deciding whether to accept an offer.

How offers, approval and fees work

Portal access lets you prepare your details. Movesmith reviews your evidence and gives final approval, and current job-eligibility checks still apply. These are separate steps. Approval does not create customer demand.

Suitable suppliers receive offers in ranked groups. Jobs not accepted through those offers can then appear on the job board for eligible suppliers. You can decline before accepting. Acceptance still depends on the job's current checks.

There are no lead or subscription fees. Movesmith's platform commission is part of the job's commercial split; the complete supplier payout is shown before you accept. You do not pay simply to wait for work.

Keep your operating area, vehicle and crew capacity, evidence and availability accurate and current. These help us identify suitable jobs, but cannot guarantee offers.

Moves in Liverpool

Liverpool mixes tall Georgian townhouses with steps and narrow stairs, dockside apartments, and suburban semis across the river on the Wirral. Stair-heavy access makes crew planning matter.

Jobs customers can book here

  • Townhouse and flat moves

Multi-floor Georgian houses and converted flats, where stairs set the crew size.

  • Student moves

Rooms and shared houses around the universities, usually small loads.

  • Dockside apartments

Newer blocks with lifts and loading rules to check before the day.

  • Wirral and Merseyside house moves

Family houses across the river and the wider region.

Nearby areas

Wavertree, Allerton, Crosby, Birkenhead, Wallasey, Bootle, Huyton, Southport. Offers go to eligible operators near the pickup first, so your base postcode matters more than a place name.

How pay works

  • Payout shown first

Every offer shows your complete fixed payout for the job before you accept.

  • No bidding, no lead fees

No joining fee and nothing to pay to be matched. Decline any offer with no penalty.

  • Paid after sign-off

Your payout goes through the platform once the move is completed and signed off.

Man and van jobs in Liverpool: your questions

What you need, how pay works and what to expect.

Can I apply from the Wirral or Merseyside?

Yes. You enter a base postcode when you apply and offers go to eligible operators near the pickup, widening in stages if nobody accepts. Registering does not guarantee work in any area.

How does pay work for Liverpool jobs?

Each offer shows one complete fixed payout for the disclosed job before you accept. There is no bidding, no lead fee and no joining fee. Your payout is paid through the platform once the move is completed and signed off. You can decline any offer with no penalty.

What do I need to take jobs?

A suitable van, Goods in Transit and Public Liability insurance, the right to work in the UK and a smartphone. We check your documents by hand, and final approval is separate from applying.

Will I definitely get work in Liverpool?

No. Customers can request a fixed price from anywhere in the UK, and suitable offers depend on real customer demand, route fit and capacity. Applying or being approved does not guarantee offers or a set volume of jobs.

I'm not based in Liverpool. Should I still apply?

Yes. Applications are open across the UK. Offers go to eligible operators near the pickup first and widen in stages if nobody accepts.
