Ground floor and 1st floor with a lift are included in the base price. Stairs without a lift add a small surcharge per flight, shown clearly on the quote before booking. 4+ flights with no lift routes to a custom quote so we can match the right crew.

Tell us separately where the van can park lawfully at pickup and delivery. If it can park within 10 metres, normal parking access is included. Longer carries of 10–25m or over 25m but under 50m add the published surcharge shown before booking. A carry of 50m or more, unknown parking, red/yellow route or another unsupported restriction routes to review or a custom fixed quote.

If there is no lawful parking, furniture does not fit, access is unsafe, unplanned dismantling is needed or delivery cannot be completed, the operator pauses the affected work and sends Movesmith a structured report with evidence. The operator cannot invent a charge or take cash at the door. Movesmith reviews the facts and, if the job needs to change, sends you a fixed proposal. Extra work or payment happens only after you expressly approve it; if you reject it, there is no variation charge and Ops arranges the safe next step, rebooking or a fresh quote.
