Tell us separately where the van can park lawfully at pickup and delivery, and whether it can stop near the door. Carrying distance is part of the time the job takes, so it is built into your fixed price. A carry of 50m or more, unknown parking, red/yellow route or another unsupported restriction routes to review or a custom fixed quote.

If there is no lawful parking, furniture does not fit, access is unsafe, unplanned dismantling is needed or delivery cannot be completed, the operator pauses the affected work and sends Movesmith a structured report with evidence. The operator cannot invent a charge or take cash at the door. Movesmith reviews the facts and, if the job needs to change, sends you a fixed proposal. Extra work or payment happens only after you expressly approve it; if you reject it, there is no variation charge and Ops arranges the safe next step, rebooking or a fresh quote.
